Supervision.

Supervision of new therapists is a specialty and passion of Hannah Dudley, LMFT. Her approach is developmental in nature. A variety of methods are used, with a particular focus on the self-as-therapist.  Hannah has sought specialized training in supervision, including her AAMFT Approved Supervisor status. She is qualified and skilled to provide supervision to mental health professionals seeking Colorado LMFT or LPC licensure.

Are you wanting to become an AAMFT Approved Supervisor?

Hannah would love to talk about serving as a Supervisor Mentor for LMFT's who are working toward their Approved Supervisor credential through AAMFT.  Hannah had incredible supervision mentors during her training and strives to provide that same experience to supervisors-in-training.

Supervision Group.

Although individual supervision is incredibly valuable and necessary, supplementing with group supervision offers many valuable additions. It offers a different perspective from the supervisor and other clinicians in the group, providing a built-in support network of clinicians. Plus, it can save you money! Candidates for LMFT licensure are able to count 50 supervision hours (of their 100 required) and LPC candidates for licensure are able to count 30 hours (of their 100 required) in the group format.

Hannah Dudley, LMFT, with Healthy Self. Healthy Life., is launching a supervision group for those seeking LPC & LMFT licensure; appropriate for those in private practice or agency work looking to supplement their individual supervision with a dynamic group setting. As a LMFT and AAMFT Approved Supervisor, as well as the former Internship Training Manager at a highly sought-after training site, she is incredibly passionate about providing professional, ethical, & systemic supervision, with a special focus on self-as-therapist.

NOW RECRUITING interested clinicians! The group will be located at our office - 825 East Speer Blvd, Suite 210, Denver, CO 80218 - on Sundays from 2-4pm, meeting once/twice per month depending on demand. Cost is $100 per group ($50/hour); a great way to earn high quality supervision at a reduced fee. Please contact Hannah Dudley for more information or to sign-up.

Consultation.

We can't know it all - and it's okay you don't either. Whether you're intentionally increasing your knowledge in a certain area or have found yourself working with a client and you aren't sure where to go next, it can be helpful to talk with someone who has already been down that road.

Are you a more experienced professional who is looking for ongoing or occasional professional consultation in one of our areas of expertise? Whether in groups or individually, we would like to work with you and your colleagues to increase your knowledge base or strategize the best treatment approaches for the most challenging clinical cases.

Hear what others are saying...

  • I contacted Hannah for professional consultation regarding training in play therapy. She showed up to our meeting prepared, and offered many helpful suggestions. I found Hannah to be very kind, approachable, and encouraging. After such a positive experience, she was later asked to offer our interns and staff an in-service on the basics of play therapy. She came to the in-service with a very thorough handout that will become part of the training library at our organization. I think the world of Hannah and the work she does as a therapist and consultant!

  • I had the opportunity to work with Hannah as my supervisor for two years. Coming straight out of graduate school, I was nervous about entering the field as a therapist and working in roles that demanded a significant amount of independent work. I contracted Hannah as an outside supervisor, who could help me grow my competencies as a marriage and family therapist and navigate the process to become a LMFT. Hannah was an amazing support for me during these first two years, as I worked towards licensure. She had a natural ability to understand my needs as a new therapist, notice my growth areas and my strengths, and encouraged me to push myself and my skills further than I would have ever thought. During our work together, I came to understand myself as a therapist, what is important to me for my career, and really believe in myself and my abilities. I can confidently say that I would not be the therapist or person I am today if I didn't have Hannah walking beside me during this time in my journey. I feel so grateful that I was lucky enough to find her to support me during one of the most challenging times in my career and her words of wisdom and encouragement continue to inspire me as I navigate through the many challenges of my career.

  • I have worked with Hannah first in my clinical internship at Judi’s House and then in my private practice. Before starting with Hannah, I always viewed supervision as requirement and task, rather than a beneficial opportunity to get to explore my own therapeutic process and challenge how I can be constantly improving myself as a therapist. Hannah is both empathetic and insightful, offering her clinical experience mixed with her ability to help identify healthy coping skills and stress management for clinicians. If you are looking for a well-rounded and competent supervisor who can help you grow into the therapist you want to be, then I would recommend Hannah without hesitation.
