 Who I Serve

WhoWeServe - Healthy Self. Healthy Life. | Denver-Based Mental Health for Individuals

Individuals

Most of us are just trying to find happiness, but sometimes that isn’t so easy. Many of us are also trying to figure out who we are, what we stand for, what we want to do with our lives, or how to be a better person. Sometimes we need another perspective to help us get there.

WhoWeServe - Healthy Self. Healthy Life. | Denver-Based Mental Health for Couples

Couples

Even the healthiest of relationships require work, commitment, and effort. Move through conflict and misunderstanding so you can experience a deeper sense of connection and joy. Couples counseling is beneficial for all types and stages of relationships.

WhoWeServe - Healthy Self. Healthy Life. | Denver-Based Mental Health for Families

Families

A certain degree of conflict is healthy for family growth, however if unable to resolve the issues, you may be living with on-going stress. We want family members to feel heard and communicate effectively. Minimize the conflict, understand one another, and increase the connection.

Therapy Modalities and Methods - Healthy Self. Healthy Life. | Denver-Based Mental Health for Families

THERAPY MODALITIES & METHODS

I practice from an integrative lens, utilizing a variety of theoretical perspectives, with the goals of fostering a collaborative and authentic therapeutic environment to meet the unique needs of my clients.

I am always systemic and developmental in my approaches.

Some of my favorite & specific modalities that I pull from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing (MI), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, Developmental, Strategic, Gottman, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).

Our Style and Role - Healthy Self. Healthy Life. | Denver-Based Mental Health for Families

My STYLE/My ROLE

I would summarize my overall style as approachable, down-to-earth, invested, and skillful.

My role, as your therapist, is to support you in identifying thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that result in behaviors that are incongruent with how you want to live your life. I then “get in it” and “get real” with my clients, utilizing a variety of techniques or approaches - while progress is not linear, I don’t want my clients to feel like they’re spinning their wheels.

What To Expect - Healthy Self. Healthy Life. | Denver-Based Mental Health for Families

WHAT TO EXPECT

At first, it’s about getting to know you, your unique journey and your desires for your life. As I support & guide you from here towards your goals, it’s very likely things may feel worse before they feel better. I will check-in with you along the way, as I want you to feel empowered in the process - and hope throughout, you will feel heard and seen.

Through therapy, my clients better understand themselves, their relationships, strengths, problem areas, patterns, and needs. The result is a more intentional and satisfying experience of life.

 WHAT’S THE INVESTMENT?

I know paying for therapy services can be a significant investment, but that’s just how I see it - an investment in yourself and your relationships. How do I know this? Because I see it with my clients every day, and I’ve experienced it myself (yes, this therapist has also sought therapy!).

Healthy Self. Healthy Life. is known for utilizing effective treatment strategies and prioritizing the quality of care for each person I serve. My rates are based on my years in the field, experience, specialized training, and certifications.

Cancellation Policy

I prioritize my clients by holding space for each person I see. When clients cancel an appointment, I offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 24-hours or no-show, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.

If you would like to cancel an appointment, I ask that you do so with at least 24-hours notice. Anyone cancelling an appointment with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged their full session fee. The cost of missed sessions is not typically covered by your insurance company. I will charge the credit card on file for late cancellations and no shows.
